COST ACCOUNTANT-AUTOMOTIVE PARTS PLANT
IMMEDIATE NEED IN THIS EAST TENNESSEE PLANT
Starting salary range will depend on level of experience (Est. Range: $60-75,000)
Plant will offer a competitive benefits plan and assist in relocation.
Position Requirements:
MFG background is critical, strong knowledge of standard cost accounting & variance analysis
BS Accounting preferred. BS Business with Accounting emphasis (Cost Accounting required) acceptable
At least 2-5 years experience in manufacturing industry
Strong Excel Skills
QAD system knowledge a plus
Hyperion knowledge a plus
Strong understanding of manufacturing cost drivers
Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
Strong communication skills with ability to lead on corporate calls
Ability to manage projects from beginning to completion in organized manner
Position
Responsibilities:
Standard Cost Development and Analysis
Cost Variance Analysis (material, labor, usage, methods, etc)
Standard, Contribution, Gross Margin Analysis
Detailed analysis of Cost Card Estimate to Actual BOM Rollup
Ability to
BOM Auditing and Maintenance
Cost Card Maintenance
Routing processes (roll-ups, update standards, etc.)
Engineering Change Management
Bump Chart Tracking and Maintenance (Price and Cost)
Directed supplier tracking and sync to customer pricing
Inventory Control Actions (negative balances, back flushing, etc.)
Cycle Count Review and Problem Resolution
Physical Inventory Plan, Preparation, Execution and Reconciliation
Inventory Analysis (E&O, LCM, I/CO Profit, etc.)
Scrap Reporting
Hourly Productivity Reporting (earned hours, efficiency, OEE)
Purchase Savings Analysis (P save file)
Internal Plant Reporting and assisting with monthly forecasting and annual budget
Continuous Improvement involvement
Month end journal entries
Fixed asset sub ledger maintenance (FAS)
Fixed asset support activity (CIP, invoices, cash timing)
Balance Sheet reconciliations

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
