Maintenance Manager

A Maintenance Manager is needed for a leading automotive manufacturer. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of maintenance supervisors, electricians, and technicians. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for developing preventative maintenance programs, supervision of repairs, and establishing maintenance budgets. Qualified candidate must have 7
years of experience working as a maintenance manager within a heavy manufacturing facility. This position is located in Athens, TN.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Manager

Oversee the plant maintenance department and direct the activities of the maintenance staff
Work closely with Engineering on machinery, fixturing and tooling
Conduct the preventative maintenance program, ensuring all equipment is functioning as required to include presses, furnaces, cranes, mobile equipment as well as ensuring electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems are operating
Investigate new equipment, write the specifications for equipment, review bids/quotes, prepare requests for equipment, design and oversee installation as well as the start-up and de-bugging of new equipment for the production process

Requirements for the Maintenance Manager

Must have experience using SAP
7
years' of experience working as an Maintenance Manager within a heavy industrial manufacturing facility
Must have prior supervisory and budgeting experience
Must have experience overseeing large projects such as facility construction, movement of large equipment within a location or transferring it to another facility with minimal production down time


Salary is $75k+ DOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
